The Australasian Golf Academy (AGA) was established in 1994 with the intention of filling a need for high quality golf training programs for Australian and International students. Since that time, hundreds of students have benefited from the programs available at AGA. From its inception, the AGA has been committed to establishing and maintaining good relationships with the appropriate government departments and to working within the regulations that apply to international and domestic students.

While there are several golf training establishments in South-East Queensland, the AGA is one of a few that has maintained registration as an RTO (Registered Training Organization) - No. 31598 and on CRICOS (Commonwealth Register of Institutions and Courses for Overseas Students) - No. 01366F and registered with the Australian Sports Commission to deliver the level 1 and Level 2 Coaching Principles. These relationships have been augmented by AGA's membership in peak education and training bodies such as ACPET, RTQ and Study Gold Coast.

In December 2004, the AGA re-located to the Robina Woods Golf Course, taking over control of the driving range and practice facilities there. This not only provided a central base for all AGA's operations, but also provided an improved learning environment for students, in addition to ready access to facilities such as gymnasium, accommodation and function areas.
AGA is at the forefront of the golfing industry and continues to introduce innovations to a growing market, the academy is currently marketing Professional Golf, Certificate, and Diploma programs world-wide.

Our commitment to the quality of our product and operating results makes us golf's first and foremost golf academy. The creativity and energy of our people stimulates a culture of enthusiasm, excellence, and innovation setting us apart from our competitors. AGA is a recognized industry leader in the premium international golf teaching market. The company's intense focus in achieving the ultimate in golf education distinguishes AGA from other golf academies and golf course operators. AGA was the first to "raise the bar" on expected levels of customer service, concentrating on "leading edge" golf instruction and receiving the well-deserved respect and praise of its peers.

As evidence of this respect, AGA's coaches are regularly nominated for the PGA's "Teacher of the Year" awards. These awards are keenly sought after by professionals Australia-wide and to have AGA coaches reach the finalist stage is an honor indeed. The AGA was also nominated as Small Training Provider of the Year in the 2001 and 2002 Queensland Training Awards.
Australasian Golf Academy has become a model for the industry that others strive to emulate… there is only one AGA. The name is synonymous with excellence. The Australasian Golf Academy provides aspiring golf champions with a distinct international advantage.
AGA is truly the only place to "learn the art of becoming a professional".
